Year 3 doesn't quite start til next Friday, but I feel like writing something. Today was a frustrating day. We're trying to get a brand new computer lab up and running before school starts - it's turning into a nightmare. We have all the computers (purchased by our afterschool program - thanks Mrs. K!), but some of the other hardware wasn't ordered...say surge protectors. Of course they have to be special ones. A N D we're not quite sure if there is enough electricty in the classroom we're setting the lab in to power the 35 machines! (Guess I should have been keeping tabs on this stuff.) Of course more paperwork has to be completed to get someone from the district to come out and check to see. Moral of the story: You can't be everywhere and you can't do every thing. Eventually, the kids will have their lab. It may take a little longer than I thought - but, it will happen!
