Gone

This is going to be one of those crazy weeks. Today I had to be at two meetings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Tomorrow is an all morning principals' meeting. On Thursday I'm going to the Head Start End of Year Celebration. I think I'll leave that one a little early. I really hate being gone so much. I feel so out of touch when I'm gone for a day or even for the morning. When I'm gone I know the school is in good hands, maybe even better hands. Since I'll be at school all day on Wednesday, I'll probably do my one minute walk throughs. Then I'll check and respond to emails all afternoon. I need to get ready for Thursday's Staff Development Meeting too...yikes, I almost forgot about that.

Hibernation

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted. Bad me. It's not that I haven't had anything to write about...lots of stuff has been happening. Some good, some not so good. I'm so glad the school year is winding down. I've made quite a few mistakes this year. However, I have learned from them. When I taught, I told my kids that it was ok to make mistakes, just learn from them and try not to make them again. So I will take my own advice and try not to make the same mistakes again. I'm glad testing is almost over...one more day left. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we make our API. Hopefully, with everyone doing the MAP2D, we'll get a few extra points. Just say no to Program Improvement!
